What a misleading cover! Judging by the front, you would think that this issue of Comics Scene Spectacular would feature some content on Pfeiffer's Catwoman. Well, unless you count a fleeting mention in this issue's story on comics' heavenly bodies, you'd be wrong. Guess the old saying about judging a book by its cover really is true. Oh well... the magazine does at least feature a 3 page pictorial preview of Batman Returns as well as an interview with one of Batman's creators, Bob Kane (I say "one of" in deference to Bill Finger's unsung contributions). In the article, Kane claims to have had influence on the marketing for Returns as well as critiquing the script. But then again, he also claims to have had an affair with Marilyn Monroe... so I'd take this one with a grain of salt. ;)
