Vintage Magazine Article:
"Fantazone" Issue #1
Summer 1989

Bet you thought Tiger Beat magazine was only good for posters of Kirk Cameron and quizzes on which celebrity would make your perfect boyfriend, didn't you? Not so in the summer of '89, as the inaugural issue of Tiger Beat's Fantazone magazine hit magazine racks nationwide. The issue is chock full of Bat-related content- From a retrospective on Batman's 50 year career to a spotlight on Bob Kane. The real highlight for a Batman '89 fan though is the interview with screenwriter Sam Hamm. The article reveals great tidbits like his pick for the sequel's villain and his thoughts on the early script draft from Tom Mankiewicz. Check it out!
