Vintage Magazine Article:
"Film Threat" Issue #18

There isn't much meat to this article from issue #18 of Film Threat magazine (which I assume must be an earlier volume from the previously posted issue #5 from '92). A few poorly reproduced shots from the trailer, a synopsis gleaned from an early script, and a repeated misspelling of Michael USLAN's name accentuate the piece's main purpose; Explaining just how hard it was to get concrete information secured before the film's premiere...

  1. Ah, this brings back some great memories :)
Although I never saw this mag at the time it DOES remind me of seeing that same first pic of the Batmobile for the first time and being spellbound. The first merchandise I ever got from the movie was a square button featuring Bob Kane's art as seen at top in yellow simply stating 'BATMAN - THE MOVIE, SUMMER '89'. Still got it. The first pic of Keaton in the suit I remember was SO coveted and I think it was shown in a Starlog Yearbook - My local comics shop had it in the window opened to that page and I just stopped right in my tracks to gawp at it. Nobody at the time had ever seen anything like it...
